Synopsis

The ninth season opens with a panel of celebrities vying for culinary supremacy. Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray begin by evaluating the gastronomic abilities – or inabilities – of their star contestants. Each is tasked with creating a dish using unusual ingredients sourced from Hollywood gift bags. Later, more conventional instruction is provided on preparing a simple steak and eggs.
