Synopsis

Hercule Poirot accompanied his friend Captain Hastings to a weekend shooting party at the estate of Harrington Pace, though he found himself distinctly out of sorts. A sudden influenza confined him to his bed, but the tranquility of the countryside was shattered when Pace was found murdered in his study. Despite his illness, Poirot readily offered his assistance to Inspector Japp in unraveling the mystery.
