Synopsis

Hoping for respite, Hercule Poirot and Captain Hastings journey to Cornwall. Their search for tranquility is interrupted by an encounter with Miss Nick Buckley, a resident near their hotel, End House. She confides in Poirot that she has recently endured three accidents that narrowly missed proving fatal. A subsequent discovery – a bullet hole in her hat – compels Poirot to escort her back to End House, plunging them both into the heart of a perplexing murder investigation.
