Synopsis

Valerie St. Clair, a captivating young actress betrothed to Prince Paul of Maurania, is the sole witness to the death of Henry Reedburn, a notoriously domineering film producer with questionable dealings. Prince Paul seeks out Hercule Poirot, imploring him to protect Valerie from unwanted police scrutiny. The celebrated detective finds himself confronted with a perplexing question: "When is a murder not a murder?"
