Synopsis

The day of the Democratic Caucus finds Bartlet, Toby, and C.J. traveling to Iowa to launch the presidential campaign, where they find themselves at odds over Bartlet’s recent comments on affirmative action. Back in Washington, Leo tasks Josh with persuading an old acquaintance to de-escalate a protest concerning Navy weapons testing in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Sam reconnects with Bob Engler, now representing two congressmen who demand an inventory of Fort Knox, fueled by the belief that the gold re
