Synopsis

President Bartlet finds himself in a difficult position, searching for a candidate to fill a vacancy on the Supreme Court, only to discover the ideal choice possesses unforeseen flaws. Adding to the pressure, a congressman launches a pointed attack on the White House staff, alleging a widespread problem with drug use.
