Synopsis

Soldiers of the 7th Division relentlessly pursue Sugimoto and Asirpa. Private Genjirō Tanigaki encounters Asirpa, but is driven back by Retar. Sugimoto escapes capture by plunging into a bear cave; the creature within attacks and eliminates the soldiers before succumbing to its injuries. Afterward, Sugimoto and Asirpa bring a baby bear discovered in the cave to Asirpa’s village, paying respects to her grandmother, known as Huci.
