Synopsis

Georg Wilsberg’s drive to Havenbroich Castle, intended as a simple library inspection, took an unexpected turn. There, he was surprised by the sudden appearance of Maria, his former student and the woman he had loved. Now mistress of the castle, she introduced him with pride to her son Steffen, who was soon to marry the affluent Edith Wagenfeld.
