Synopsis

Inspector Georg Wilsberg encounters Katharina once more, the woman he knew in school and with whom he shared a deep affection. He himself now lives with a precariousness of means, while she has found contentment as the wife of Matthias, a mother of two, and the owner of a grand city villa. A familiar unease settles upon Wilsberg; he finds himself questioning the path his life has taken.
