Michael sets out to unearth further information about Eric. Lynn deliberately directs Clive to the incorrect crematorium for Shirley’s funeral. Elsa is pleased to observe Nick’s tardiness in collecting Alice from nursery, seizing the opportunity to gain an advantage. He frets that she intends to leverage the rumors of his and Archie's supposed homosexuality to secure custody of Alice, and asks Zoe whether she would publicly deny those rumors if necessary.
