Synopsis

Annie puts on a brave face as she leaves Emmerdale Farm to go into hospital, but a conversation with Henry reveals her real fears. Meanwhile, Alan catches Archie and Nick trying to poach trout down at the river. They say they are not poaching, but looking for a missing watch. Jock finds the letter ordering redundancies. He is seen by Caroline who says he cannot just read personal documents on Alan's desk. Jock is livid, and wants to speak to Alan about the redundancies. Henry and Amos struggle to find someone to cover at The Woolpack whilst they are away.
