Synopsis

Peters, the solicitor representing Wilks, asserts his client possesses the right-of-way across the Sugden property. Joe strikes up a conversation with Marian, and a friendship blossoms between them. A devastating disease necessitates the culling of 250 hens. Later, while exploring the grounds, Joe and Jack discover a shot bird and harbor suspicions that Henry Wilks is engaging in illegal hunting.
