Synopsis

The arrival of CIA equipment, intended for clandestine listening, revealed to Stan a less-than-favorable perception of him amongst his neighbors. Resentment festered, and he responded by orchestrating the eviction of the entire neighborhood, seeking a sanctuary from disapproval. Yet, the unexpected arrival of a friend brought a sobering realization: the currency of gossip is often reciprocal.
