Synopsis

Stan pursues the aspiration of becoming the church’s new deacon with a tenacity bordering on obsession, driven by a fierce rivalry with Chuck White. Simultaneously, Roger’s purported temporary affliction unravels a cascade of complications for Steve, Betsy, the wider family, and ultimately, for Stan himself.
