Synopsis

Jerry staunchly declined any offers of assistance from his neighbors. Elsie assured Irma she was most welcome to use their bathroom. A disagreement erupted between Jerry and Len when Len remarked that Myra held the power in their relationship. He then requested an eight-pound note from Jack, only to be refused. Dennis inadvertently walked in on Irma bathing, much to Elsie's amusement. Later, Frank, after consuming too much alcohol, announced he had won five thousand pounds on the Premium Bonds.
