Synopsis

Reluctance among the wedding guests to ride with Ena means she arrives at the church alone. Myra is there before Jerry, who has been escorted to a pub by Dennis and Walter. Following the ceremony, Dennis reads aloud telegrams from Doreen, the Walkers, and Sheila. The Booths depart for their honeymoon in Torquay. Ena returns to the Vestry to discover it in disarray, the harmonium shattered, and the furniture marred by deliberate slashes.
