Synopsis

Still restless from a fitful night, Harry sits listlessly at breakfast, his thoughts consumed by Johnny’s troubles. A conversation in the Corner Shop between Elsie, Christine, and Florrie is interrupted by Frank, who mentions “Ronnie.” Ken takes offense at Concepta's remark that his return to teaching is just, given his responsibilities to Val. Unaware of Len’s confession, Concepta believes Johnny’s predicament is entirely self-inflicted, a consequence of his failure to account for fare payments
