Bill Gregory was back. Lucille began by explaining the considerable amount of time Len had lately been spending with Elsie. Minnie voiced her concern regarding her mother’s well-being. Len’s business was thriving, and he was contemplating hiring an additional employee. Bill made a veiled threat against Len concerning Elsie. Len dismissed it, stating they were merely friends.
