Synopsis

Ena frets over their dwindling finances. Minnie meticulously embroidering "Lucky Lolita" onto a jacket for her. Dennis drafts a letter for Minnie, addressed to Mr. Baxter, the Mission chairman, pleading for Ena's reinstatement. Albert writes to Baxter, offering his own position and advocating for Ena’s return. Concepta finds delight in watching Harry dart about her feet. Lucky races once more. Harry wagers five pounds, Len stakes ten, and together they convince Elsie to contribute another ten.
