Synopsis

Ken began to compose his article. Dennis anticipated having time to repay Elsie, but she informed him that she was booking a holiday for the following week. Dennis, Harry, Concepta, Frank, Jack, Albert, Ena, Minnie, Martha, Len, and himself proceeded to the races. As the stakes grew higher, Harry, Dennis, and Minnie found the spectacle unbearable. At number eleven, Elsie discovered her funds were gone.
