Synopsis

A letter arrived from Curly’s mother, a severing of ties predicated on his living with a Black woman. He traveled to Crewe to find Gloria. A bouquet of roses appeared for her, their sender a mystery, their purpose unclear. Meanwhile, Rita and Alan clashed over the car, while Alf remained unable to reach Audrey in Canada.
