Synopsis

Florrie is apprehended by the police for selling firelighters after the permitted hour. Christine is incensed by Ena’s pronouncements to all and sundry regarding May's supposed descent into madness, and breaks down in tears. Children scratch Susan’s father’s car. Ida mortifies Ken by displaying his baby pictures to Susan. Ivan appears at the Rovers Return. Esther takes charge of a distraught Christine. Susan further embarrasses Ken by venturing into the Rovers. Linda collides with Ivan.
