Synopsis

*Ask This Old House* returns for its seventh season on PBS. General contractor Tom Silva averts a garage roof collapse by replacing a decayed support post. Subsequently, Tom joins host Kevin O'Connor, landscaper Roger Cook, and plumbing and heating specialist Richard Trethewey as they ponder the question, "What is it?" Afterward, Roger assists two homeowners in mitigating basement moisture by installing a dry well to manage discharge from their sump pump.
