Synopsis

In the bright space of the *Ask This Old House* loft, Roger demonstrates the best techniques for mowing and edging a front lawn to two eager homeowners. Elsewhere, Tom, Richard, Roger, and Kevin gather around an unusual object, speculating on its purpose. Richard then guides Kevin through the process of repairing and maintaining electric water heaters. Meanwhile, Tom assists a homeowner in fixing a broken stair tread, employing a novel wooden dowel for the repair.
