Synopsis

At the Phoenix residence of Tom and Ellen, exterior insulation and flashing are installed, alongside a traditional Southwestern viga and latilla ceiling in the master bedroom, designed to provide enhanced heat protection. The balcony supports and staircase are finished with adobe plaster, and the program demonstrates the process of installing flagstone paving. The host also visits Frank Lloyd Wright's renowned Talesin West.
