Synopsis

From the precast concrete foundation walls that form the base of our homes to the finishing touches of bathtubs and doors, and windows, *This Old House* delves into the origins of the materials that bring our projects to life. Kevin journeys to factories across the United States and Canada, observing the creation of foundation walls, framing lumber, and doors. Meanwhile, Richard travels to witness the fabrication of a bathtub and the melting of glass for windows.
