Synopsis

The weathered columns of the old piazza are being meticulously restored in a workshop away from the site. The wrought-iron gate was crafted by students of the building arts at a nearby college. For the historic house, modern light fixtures have been chosen. New siding has been installed, carefully blended with the existing fabric to comply with the requirements of the historic district.
