Synopsis

Dawn breaks with the arrival of a seventeen-foot steel beam, weighing nine hundred pounds. This substantial piece will bear the weight of the house across the sixteen-foot opening cut into the rear foundation wall. Due to the site's challenging access, general contractor Tom Silva employs a crane to lift the beam over the house and position it carefully against a temporary wall near the installation point.
