Synopsis

At the Auburndale project, work continues apace on the rear of the house. On the deck, general contractor Tom Silva is installing a new composite decking material—crafted from recycled plastics and wood fibers, similar to previous projects, but now featuring a durable, proprietary finish backed by a 30-year warranty. The manufacturer also provides a concealed fastening system and a prefabricated railing. Inside, painting is in progress, utilizing a product promising deeper hues and low volatile
