Synopsis

For the first time, the experts from This Old House received renovation requests through their website, www.thisoldhouse.com, and are now embarking on a project for two single women in East Boston. The challenge of this season is to renovate their 1916 two-family home on a limited budget. While essential updates – wiring, plumbing, and insulation – are required, the homeowners intend to allocate the majority of their funds to creating stylish new kitchens and bathrooms.
