Synopsis

The episode opens with host Kevin O'Connor and master carpenter Norm Abram at Gibbs Hill Lighthouse in Southampton, Bermuda, the island’s highest point. Later, in St. George, Kevin meets architect Colin Campbell to discuss his plans for the renovation and expansion of Harbour View. Meanwhile, Norm visits Jonathan Cumberbatch, a fourth-generation quarryman in Smith's parish, to observe the traditional process of extracting and shaping native limestone into roofing tiles, commonly called "slate."
