Synopsis

Contractor Mark Dimeo employs a 30-inch diamond blade to carve a doorway into the basement foundation. Meanwhile, host Steve Thomas speaks with painting contractor Jim Clark about a novel, non-toxic chemical paint stripper as he works to remove layers of old exterior paint. Architect David Stirling and homeowner Kime Whittemore then confer on solutions for the house's uneven roof dormers. Finally, Steve and Kim embark on a search for windows for the new addition.
