West Palm Beach beckoned with promises of coastal breezes, warm sand, political currents, and sixteen distinct historical districts – a combination too tempting to resist. This Florida community, boasting a revitalized downtown and significant residential restoration, provides the setting for the This Old House project house: a modest Mediterranean Revival bungalow. Constructed in the 1920s, the new owner, Rob Thompson, intends to transform the bungalow and the attached two-story garage/apartmen
