Synopsis

The Charlestown project house will preserve many of its original 1865 features, though some of the weathered brownstone lintels will be replaced. As mason Lenny Beliveau installs new cast stone lintels, project host Steve Thomas visits the Rhode Island yard where they are crafted, learning about the materials and the casting process. Meanwhile, roofing contractor Mark Mulloy details the complexities of reroofing the mansard as he and his crew complete their work on the house.
