Synopsis

A preliminary stop before commencing work takes us to the Air Force's AMARC, a sprawling repository of retired aircraft, preserved in the Tucson desert for potential use as spare parts, long-term storage, or eventual dismantling. Meanwhile, at the Meigs' residence, Mexican tile adorns the courtyard, new mesquite kitchen cabinets are installed, and we observe the installation of poured concrete countertops—a novel undertaking for *This Old House*.
