Chris Hagger explains his choice of architectural shingles for his new roof to the crew. On the roof itself, the team installs the chosen shingles alongside a new roof vent. Afterward, the host journeys to a recycling center where both construction waste and general community recyclables are sorted. Returning to the house, a preservation mason assesses the fireplaces and chimneys, advising a delicate cleaning for the former and more substantial rebuilding for the latter.
