Synopsis

Over a year, *Tegenlicht* chronicles the unfolding developments surrounding the ambitious ‘Grand Paris’ project, viewed through the perspective of Dutch architect and participant Winy Maas. Like his predecessors, French President Sarkozy aims not merely to commission a prestigious building in his name, but to shape the future of the entire city of Paris.
