Synopsis

A portrait of four lives in the former Motor City. The automotive giant, once the jewel of the American economy, survived thanks to a multi-billion dollar infusion from the Obama administration and was ordered to restructure into a leaner, more agile enterprise. In *Tegenlicht*, we observe a day in the life of four residents of Detroit and the surrounding area, whose lives are interwoven with General Motors in diverse ways.
