Synopsis

A first for Tegenlicht: a Dutch woman has, for the first time, been granted permission to film in Saudi Arabia. Program maker Bregtje van der Haak, herself veiled, embarks on a journey, undertaking a personal road movie to explore how working women in Saudi Arabia are pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
