South Africa is home to approximately 46 million people, and it is estimated that 6.3 million currently live with HIV, a figure that stood at 5.3 million in 2003. Each year, around 350,000 South Africans die from AIDS-related illnesses. Consequently, the funeral industry has expanded significantly, and cemeteries are becoming overwhelmed.
