Synopsis

February 2003. In Grozny, documentary filmmaker Manon Loizeau spent two weeks immersed in the lives of the city's inhabitants, witnessing both their suffering and their resilience. The film offers intimate portraits of Grozny residents: Anissa, a 22-year-old student; Bislan, a freedom fighter; and Adam, a former prisoner.
