Synopsis

Iran’s history stretches back over the millennia, to a time when Persepolis was the seat of the “king of kings.” Here, we journey to three of Iran’s historic capitals: Persepolis, a city of magnificent monuments; Shiraz, home to the final resting places of the nation's most cherished poets; and Isfahan, renowned for its breathtaking mosques and the warmth of its people.
