Synopsis

Following his explorations of Israel, Egypt, and eastern Turkey, Rick ventures beyond Europe to a land steeped in history and veiled in mystery. This first of two half-hour programs delves into Iran, where he navigates the bustling streets of Tehran, finds solace in a quiet village, and experiences both overt anti-American sentiment and genuine hospitality from ordinary Iranians.
