Synopsis

Following a visit to Michelangelo’s *Pieta*, we ascend to the summit of St. Peter’s Basilica. There, we seek out hidden Renaissance paintings and a cleverly executed illusionistic dome. At the Borghese Gallery, we encounter exquisite sculptures by Bernini, the master of marble. Afterwards, we mingle with the city’s inhabitants on a nocturnal walk, weaving together Rome's Baroque grandeur and its vibrant nightlife.
