Synopsis

Paul gently convinced his beautiful wife, Elvira, to accept a teaching post in the province. Their hope was to escape the constant, stifling presence of Paul's mother, who treated him with a childlike condescension and intruded upon their marriage. Provincial life, however, soon grew tedious for Elvira. That monotony was shattered by the arrival of Danny, her childhood sweetheart, who moved into the area and rekindled a flame thought long extinguished.
