Synopsis

The family’s joy seems diminished when Dario is not present. A man consumed by drink and chance, he drains the resources of his wife, Gloria, and his other son, Rolly, who offer no resistance. During a brutal argument one night, Dario strikes Gloria, an act that precipitates her fatal fall. The brothers harbor a deep and abiding resentment toward their father, and the possibility of reconciliation appears lost, despite Dario’s desperate pleas for forgiveness.
