Synopsis

With diligent effort, Trining cultivated a substantial estate within their quiet town. The community rejoiced at the success of the beloved widow, unaware that old age would bring her hardship. Her only daughter, Patricia, grew consumed by avarice, systematically dispossessing her mother of her inheritance. Trining passed away a broken woman, a peasant with a shattered heart, denied even a proper burial. Patricia inherited the accumulated wealth, but fate had a cruel reckoning in store.
