Synopsis

Mike, orphaned before he was old, spent his days plowing the fields, a relentless labor undertaken solely to provide for his younger brother, Aurel. Years of tireless effort culminated in Aurel receiving an education Mike had been denied. Yet, in sacrificing his own aspirations and contentment for Aurel's benefit, Mike belatedly understood he had neglected his own heart. The bitterest irony was that Aurel’s ease and youthful recklessness had ultimately led to Mike’s own downfall.
