Synopsis

Jake, a construction worker, and his wife Alma, who sells food from a cart, lived a modest life. Yet, their home was filled with love and a quiet contentment that sustained them and their son. They anticipated another Christmas, simple and bright with joy, when tragedy struck. An accident at work left Jake crippled, and soon a cascade of hospital bills threatened to overwhelm them. His only chance lay in a risky surgery. Driven by desperation, Alma made a desperate attempt to steal, but her acti
