Synopsis

Pablito Sarmiento began his career as an actor's assistant, but it was Dolphy who recognized his comedic gifts and launched him into stardom. He adopted the moniker "Babalu," a nod to his prominent chin. Success in acting, however, led him down a path of indulgence. By his fifties, a fear had taken root: that his career would falter, compounded by a diagnosis of liver problems brought on by decades of alcoholism.
